I'm just having some fun making a few music videos.
Nothing awesome just fun to watch.

MAP WITH FISH PHOTOS WHERE THEY WERE CAUGHT.

This is something that I started working on several years ago.
click on the link and a map will open up.
click on the images and they will enlarge.
zoom in and you will see where these fish were caught.

I'm hoping I will have the time and energy to put thousands of pics on here and eventually details on how to fish each spot.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015 - Ontario Red Lake Fishing Report, Photos and New Motors- CHECK IT OUT

Hello everyone I hope you had a great Christmas Season and started 2015 in good health.
Everyone here in the Great White North wishes you all the best for 2015.

Something happened to a bunch of the photos that I posted in 2012, 13, 14 so it dampened my enthusiasm to keep this blog updated.
However many people have commented on how much they miss the photos and stories.
Some people even asked if I was still in business.

So lets share what happened in 2014

IN CASE I FORGET WHY I DO THIS

HERE IS THE VIEW FROM MY OFFICE IN THE SUMMER

                NEW MOTORS

WE BOUGHT A TOTAL OF 12 MOTORS
6 FOR TRANSPORT/ WORK BOATS
FOR THE GUEST FISHING BOATS WE BOUGHT
6 NEW HONDA 5O HP MOTORS AND ONE YAMAHA 50
TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THE BEST EQUIPMENT OF ANY REMOTE CAMP.
I TRY TO PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE AND EQUIPMENT POSSIBLE.
MOST CAMPS OFFER JUST THE BASIC EQUIPMENT
TO AVOID THE CONSIDERABLE COSTS OF PURCHASING,
TRANSPORTING AND MAINTAINING THE
HIGH QUALITY BOATS AND MOTORS WE PROVIDE.

angler's kingdom
angler's kingdom boat

WE BROUGHT IN FOUR MORE LARGE BOATS INCLUDING THIS 22 FOOT LUND TYEE WITH A 150 HP.
.

WE ALSO BROUGHT IN A 20 FOOT LUND ALASKAN WITH 130 HONDA
IT WILL HAUL 8 DRUMS OF GAS OR 6 PEOPLE AND GEAR (IT'S ALSO GREAT TO FISH OUT OF).

IN ADDITION WE BOUGHT TWO 18 FOOT LUNDS WITH 90 HP HONDAS. THEY HAUL A NICE LOAD OF PEOPLE AND GEAR QUICKLY.

WE CONTINUE TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO ENABLE US TO MOVE GUESTS AND GEAR AS QUICKLY AND SAFELY AS POSSIBLE. THE IDEA WITH THE BIG BOATS IS TO USE THEM AND AVOID USING THE GUEST FISHING BOATS. THIS GIVES US TIME TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN THOSE GUESTS BOATS  WHILE THE BIG BOATS ARE HAULING GUESTS TO AND FROM CAMP.

MORE BIG BOATS FOR THE RIVER

WE  NOW HAVE A 20 FOOT ALASKAN WITH A 115 HONDA
AND AN 18 FOOT WITH 90 HONDA IN THE RIVER. WITH TWO 18 FOOTERS WITH 50S FOR BACK UP.

EVERYTHING COMES IN BY BOAT. WE'VE HAULED MILLIONS OF POUNDS OF STUFF.
LOADING AN ATV OR BOAT TRAILER IS JUST PART OF THE JOB.

I'VE HAULED ATVS IN 14 FOOT BOATS SO A 20 FOOT ALASKAN WITH A 130 IS EASY FOR ME WE EVEN BROUGHT A BUNCH OF GROCERIES AT THE SAME TIME.

THIS IS EXACTLY THE REASON WE BOUGHT THESE BOATS.
TO HAUL EQUIPMENT AND MOST IMPORTANTLY OUR GUESTS AND YOUR GEAR.

THE TRAILERS ARE A BIT DIFFICULT TO LOAD BUT TRAVEL EASILY.

HERE WE HAVE UNLOADED THE BOAT TRAILERS AND ARE LOADING THE BOATS ON THOSE SAME TRAILERS TO HAUL ACROSS THE PORTAGE.
IT TAKES SOME WORK AND IT'S NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO DO EVERYDAY BUT WE GET IT DONE.

WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON A 28 FOOT PONTOON BOAT WITH FLAT PONTOONS WHICH WILL CARRY A HUGE LOAD QUICKLY AND ECONOMICALLY

WE BROUGHT IN THE 24 FOOT BOAT DUBBED THE QUEEN MARIE LAST YEAR.
JUST MOVING THE TRAILER FOR THE QUEEN MARIE WAS A CHALLENGE. IT WAS TOO BIG AND HEAVY FOR ONE BOAT SO WE USED TWO.
OUR GUESTS DON'T CONSIDER HOW MUCH WORK IT TAKES TO OPERATE IN A REMOTE LOCATION. AND I DON'T EXPECT THEM TO, THEY ARE JUST HERE TO ENJOY.  I TRY TO PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE AND EQUIPMENT POSSIBLE. MOST CAMPS OFFER JUST THE BASIC EQUIPMENT TO AVOID THE CONSIDERABLE COSTS OF PURCHASING, TRANSPORTING AND MAINTAINING THE HIGH QUALITY BOATS AND MOTORS WE PROVIDE. THE QUEEEN MARIE WILL PROBABLY NOT BE NEEDED OFTEN BUT WILL BE VERY NICE TO TRAVEL IN ON THOSE OCCASIONAL DAYS WITH HIGH WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN.

MORE BEHIND THE SCENES WORK SUCH AS REPAIRING BOAT SEATS.
WE TRIED BUYING NEW ONES EVERY YEAR BUT THAT WAS EXPENSIVE AND INEFFECTIVE, MANY WOULDN'T LAST HE SEASON.
SO WE CAME UP WITH A METAL FRAME THAT THE SEAT BASICALLY SITS IN.
IT WORKS EXTREMELY WELL AND NONE HAVE BROKE IN 3 YEARS USE.

AS FOR THE SOME OF THE FISHING!!!!!
KAI WITH THIS GINORMOUS WALLEYE HE CAUGHT THE FIRST NIGHT IN CAMP RIGHT OFF THE DOCK. THIS IS HIS LARGEST WALLEYE EVER.

OUR GUEST SEE BEAR SWIMMING BETWEEN ISLANDS AND THEY DO VISIT CAMP. BUT WE MAKE SURE THEY DON'T GET ANYTHING TO EAT AT CAMP AND THEY SELDOM RETURN.

NICE WALLEYE SAM, NICE PIKE LUKE

AN EMAIL FROM DR. STEVE

Kevin,

This past week was our second trip to Angler's Kingdom.  We stayed for 9 days. Once again, me and my boys had the time of our lives!  We built memories that we'll have forever.  Luke and Sam both boated their biggest northerns.  We ate fresh-caught walleye daily with our shore lunch.

What makes Angler's Kingdom different?  Not only do you get to fish a world-class northern and walleye lake with big, well-equipped Lund boats, but the resort owner is a lifetime fisherman who is more than willing to help get you going in the right direction.

Thanks again Kevin Geary and the entire Angler's Kingdom staff for another Canadian fishing trip of a lifetime!  We can't wait to come back again!

Much appreciation,
Steve, Luke and Sam Hryszczuk

                          GARY HILLER
Gary Hiller and group were up for their first visit. They have been fishing a fly-in lake for 23 years with good success and after a few days on Nungesser were not equalling that success. So I took them out and we boated over 300 walleye. The next day they went out alone and they caught over 100 including a few personal bests - after that they were very happy with Nungesser. Which brings me back to my saying that "the more you fish Nungesser the better you like it".

JACK ODONELL

Jack Odonell and his group were up for their 7th visit.
always a pleasure.
they caught plenty of fish as usual but no pictures???

                       JAMIE COURNOYEA

Rob Lawe

BRUCE CAZAJEWSKI

Bruce CAZ and the boys from Chicago were up for their 8th visit and low and behold they caught a bunch of fish.

Hey Kevin,  I finally got some time to sit down and write a few lines to tell you what a great time we had at your place a couple of weeks ago.  All I can say is WOW.  The fishing was the best it's ever been.  Dave and I had a couple of 100 fish days, and even a 120 fish day.  In the eight years we been coming up there, it just seems to get better and better.  That lake amazes me.  Also, your staff was probably the best you had yet, John and Ryan really hustled and don't tell Bel, but we all agreed that the food was better than before.  Dale seemed to know her way around a kitchen.  was only sorry I wasn't able to bring more guys with this year.  It's gonna be hard making any one believe the fishing was so great.  We had a really great time and enjoyed the company.  The Grizwolds  were a great couple and we enjoyed showing them where and how to fish for walleyes. We didn't take a whole lot of pictures but I enclosed one of Rick Bell with our biggest walleye and one of Lyle Grizwolds  biggest ever walleye.  can't wait till next year.  say hello to everyone and I'll talk to you later,   Bruski

LYLES BIGGEST WALLEYE EVER

There was a small forest fire started by lightning just off the south end of nungesser.
The MNR came in with water bombers and quickly put it out.

BEAUTIFUL TIME OF YEAR. BUT WEATHER CAN CHANGE ON YOU QUICK.

WHAT WALLEYE WILL EAT IF IT IS AVAILABLE
THIS IS WHY NUNGESSER PRODUCES SO MANY GIANT WALLEYE.
IN MOST LAKES WALLEYE EAT PRIMARILY INSECTS.
THIS IS TRUE IN NUNGESSER AS WELL
HOWEVER THE WALLEYE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EAT THE MILLIONS OF PERCH, SMALL WALLEYE AND CISCOES

Adam Meyerkorth group

The Meyerkorth's flew their own floatplane all the way from Missouri.

Belinda took time off from cooking to show them how to catch big walleye.

We rebuilt the boat ramp next to the kitchen.
It looks considerably better and is much more functional.
This doesn't seem to mean a lot to our guests however it does allow us to remove boats quicker and get repairs done and them back on the lake should repairs be needed.
The real value is spring and fall when moving all our big boats.
Avoiding all of this work is another reason other camps stay with smaller boats.

Then there is all the repairs needed to keep radios, sonar depth finders, etc. in good working order with so many different people using them.

Building our boat house was a lot of work but well worth it to keep this equipment operating for years.

Putting the boats away for another year.

THIS IS FROM MAY 2009 BUT I REMEMBER IT WELL.
