6 bedroom cabin nearing completion for 2018

Ontario Canada New Record Fish - Burbot or Eel Pout

Rene caught this Burbot half a mile from camp.
It is longer than the official Ontario Record.

A rare and unique catch of any size.

A True trophy to any angler.

This one was caught the first season we operated.

Mike Baar with record size Humongous Pike

Nice Pike Mike
Mike and Rick have been coming up each September and seem to always catch a few Giant Pike.
They do well trolling crankbaits near whitefish spawning bays.

Well 2017 is in the books and it was a great summer. Fishing was even better than ever. Many guests commented that they were catching more big fish. This is likely due to people having learned the lake after visiting several times. I have often heard guests saying that “the more I learn this like the better I like it”

Here are a few pics from 2017

ICE OUT - ALMOST !! - MAY 2, 2017

Planned on going to camp today but was surprised how much ice still on Nungesser
Red lake looked almost totally clear.
So we broke some ice to see if we could get to camp.
Got close but decided to wait.
Will wait until Thursday and ice should be all gone.

Will haul a bunch if supplies to portage tomorrow.

All things point to an early ice out.
Can never tell for sure, depends on weather but I/m thinking maybe before the end of April or the first week of May.

Anyone I haven't contacted this winter please contact me to book your trip.

Rene, Joyce, Belinda, John
and Debra, Hayden, Seanna and myself are
looking forward to seeing everyone this summer.

Looking good

Hayden and I are at camp.
came in by snow machine.
Everything looks good.
Not sure if will have energy or time to do any fishing.
So far Haydens headache isn,t too bad.

Here is a picture of Mike with a gorgeous
Rick and Mike were up last fall
They shot an awesome video, here is the link to it.

I will also try to put it here in the blog but not sure if I know how and since I,m here at camp, not sure our satelite internet will upload and download it.
