Five brothers form Illinois - Ontario Red Lake Fishing Report

Five brothers form Illinois and they're life long friend, Mike, left this morning after a week of fishing, Having a few brewskies and reminiscing good times from the past. Mike was up last year with his buddies and having the last year due to illness, he wanted to come up again because this might be his last. Although the weather didn't cooperate the best, it was a real treat to see the quality of genuine friendship they had with each other. Mike reported that of all the various places he's been to and fished, this last day here was the best fishing days he's ever had. He caught and released several nice walleye with the fattest a nice 26", his biggest ever; to top it off, he also caught his biggest pike ever, a 21 pounder. It always brings such joy to my heart seeing folks have such a good time. One of my other guests, Denny Burns from Iowa wants to know the date when they are coming back in 2011 so he can make it a point to be here at the same time. My hats off to the Illinois Quill Brothers, you are a dynamite group of men. It's truly an honor to know you........
